Mashad, IRNA – Iranian envoy to Turkmenistan said that a 23-member delegation from Turkmenistan have traveled to Iran to review bolstering cooperation.

Speaking to IRNA, Gholamabbas Arbabkhales said that the delegation is headed by Raşit Meredow, the foreign minister of Turkmenistan.

The visit is aimed at holding the new round of political talks between foreign ministers, the 16th annual joint economic and cultural commission meeting, and participation in Afghanistan neighbors' meeting.

Turkmen officials are to meet with Iranian Roads and Urban Development Minister Rostam Qasemi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, Oil Minister Javad Owji, and some other Iranian officials on investment, customs cooperation, oil and gas, medical, transportation, scientific, cultural, and provincial fields.

Both sides are supposed to sign an MoU, Arbab Khales said.
