Iranian President terms Hafez as glowing star of the sonnet and Persian poetry

Shiraz, IRNA -- Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Thursday in his visit to the Tomb of Hafez in Shiraz said that Hafez is the brightest glowing star of the sonnet and Persian poetry.

October 12 is celebrated as Hafez Day in Iran.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi also visited Persepolis (Takht-e Jamshid) in southern Fars Province and the under construction Zagros Paper Factory during his visit to Fars Province, on Thursday morning.
