According to the official website of the event, 'The International Festival of Ethnological Film in Belgrade is an event that offers an insight into a wide range of ethnographic film themes and presents the work of filmmakers who explore both the traditional and modern lifestyles of human communities; it offers diverse insights, film forms and methodologies.'
The event hosted 56 films from Slovenia, Canada, Belgium, Northern Macedonia, Serbia, United Kingdom, Japan, Croatia, Peru, Slovakia, Poland, Germany, Armenia, Ethiopia, Cyprus, Switzerland, Russia, France, Bulgaria, Hungary, China, Myanmar, Italy, Romania, Montenegro, Ireland, Brazil, Tanzania, Cuba, India, Czech Republic, and Iran.
The 30th International Festival of Ethnological Film was held on October 4-8 at the Ethnographic museum in Belgrade and Yugoslav Film Archive.
