Tehran, IRNA – Iranian lawmaker Mohammad Reza Mirtajodini advised Azerbaijan Republic to stop irrationally strict treatment with Iranian drivers.

Iran has always treated Azerbaijan Republic based on good neighborliness and has prioritized relations with this country as a Muslim brother state, Mirtajodini told reporters on Saturday.

Some are seeking their interests in causing dispute between the two countries and provoking Azerbaijan Republic against Iran, the lawmaker said.

He also advised leaders of Azerbaijan Republic not to be induced by the Israeli regime and avoid enmity with neighbors.

Azerbaijan Republic shouldn’t cause problem for Iran’s transit and they should immediately release Iranian truck drivers arbitrarily detained and also stop imposing illogical tolls on Iranian drivers, Mirtajodini underlined.
