Majid Torkaman made the remarks at the 48th regular session of the UN Human Rights Council on September 13 to October 8, 2021.
Seven decade of crimes committed by the Zionist regime of Israel against Palestine are resulted from international community’s indifference to face such an injustice which is the most tragic one in history, Torkaman said.
That such an evil regime, whose formation has been totally dependent on occupation, massacre, terrorism, violation, and aggression, dares to misuse the Human Rights Council to tell lie is a clear example of normalization of wickedness and malice, the envoy said in response to the baseless claims made by the Zionist regime against Islamic Republic of Iran.
Today, it is time for the Human Rights Council to once again recognize the reality with regard to continuation of crimes by Israel and its apartheid policies, he said, adding that the “reality” is what was said in the 3379 Resolution which noted in November 1975: “the racist regime in occupied Palestine.”
The envoy went on to stress that only an apartheid and racist system can show brutal behavior towards innocent children and arrest them.
Those children are guilty solely for throwing stones by their small hands to the cruel monster well-known for occupation and aggression, Torkaman noted.
Reason behind continuation of these crimes is international community’s 75-year long indifference to this injustice, he underlined.
Support from certain states, including the US, has let the regime feel immune to aftermath of its crimes.
