Tehran, IRNA – President Ebrahim Raisi presented on Saturday some of Iranian-made nanotechnology equipment as a gift to Tajik National University.

President Raisi who has flew to Tajik capital for Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit presented six Iranian products, all of which indicate Iran’s capabiilty in nanotechnology and invention.

According to experts, Iran can say today that it is ready to equip research centers and nanotechnology labs with high quality at universities.

Iranian-made products of nanotechnology have been exported to 20 different countries, including Italy, England, Austria, and Canada.

President Raisi left for Tajikistan three days ago for SCO Summit.

Before September 17, 2021, the SCO had eight members, including China, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Pakistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.

Iran which had already acted as an observer at the Organization became its permanent membership on Friday.
