Isfahan, IRNA - Bureau for Aliens and Foreign Immigrants Affairs of central Iranian province of Isfahan reported on Wednesday that about 7,500 foreign nationals and refugees residing in the area have been vaccinated against coronavirus.

Director General of the Bureau Mehdi Soleimani told IRNA that 300,000 legal and illegal refugees are living in Isfahan.

Over 5,000 foreign nationals were vaccinated in the first phase and over 2,000 at the second phase, Soleimani noted.

As he stated, foreign nationals in Isfahan are those from Afghanistan, Iraq, India, Turkey, Syria, and some are Europeans.

The deadly coronavirus has killed over 4,660,000 worldwide since its outbreak in December 2019.

The number of the dead in Iran has passed 115,000..
