Belgrade, IRNA – The Guardian of Order international military police competitions as part of the International Army Games officially ended with Iranian team claiming the fourth place.

Serbia gained the first place after five days of compact competition. Russia, Kazakhstan and Iran stood in the following places, in the contest that was held in Kraljevo city in Serbia.

Serbia’s Minister of International Affair Alexandar Vulin gave an address in the closing ceremony of the competitions, praising Serbia’s armed forces being ‘among the greatest armies in the world.’

In a sidelines event in Vrnjačka Banja city, Iran’s cultural attaché attended Army and Culture program, where an exhibition of Iranian cultural and artistic works was held and received greatly by visitors.

Serbian Deputy Defense Minister Katarina Tomasevic paid a visit to Iran’s pavilion in the exhibition along with two high ranking Serbian army commanders and met Iran’s cultural attaché Mohammad Taqi Bakhtiari.

The international military police competitions entitled Guardian of Order was held in categories shooting with automatic rifles and pistols, tactic tasks undertaking, and 12-km endurance running.

The competition was part of the greater International Army Games. Different parts of these games were held in Iran, China, India, Algeria, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Serbia, and Qatar in addition to Russia as the main organizer of the games.
