Iran VP congratulates Vietnam on Independence Day

Tehran, IRNA – Iran's First Vice-President Mohammad Mokhber extended a message on Thursday to Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chính on Independence Day or National Day (September 2).

At his message, Mokhber hoped that Iran and Vietnam would witness economic growth in their relations by use of the capacities existing in both countries and support from leaders of the two nations.

It was on September 2, 1945, that Vietnam declared independence from France.
