Moscow, IRNA – Two of the Iranian auto makers, namely Iran Khodro and Saipa, as well as several car parts manufacturers have participated in InterAuto and Automechanika exhibitions in Moscow.

Iran Khodro, the biggest Iranian auto maker, showcased its Dena+, Runna+ and Tara models in InterAuto fair, attracting a lot of visitors.

Iran Bearing and Bushing Company, Foulad Fam Co. and Fouladin Zob were among part makers that exhibited their products in the sideline fair called Automechanika, attended by over 1,400 companies from 40 countries.

The part manufacturing companies were able to sign contracts with Russian companies for cooperation.

Iran’s Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali paid a visit to Iran Khodro’s pavilion in the exhibition and said that Iranian cars are capable of being offered in Russia.

Noting that Iran is determined to boost its economic ties with Russia in addition to the existing good political and military relations, Jalali said that Iranian auto makers can provide a good opportunity in this case.

Kianmanesh, a senior director in Iran Khodro, said that the company was planning to have a presence in Russia alongside big companies through a thorough study.

Iran Khodro has previously exported up to 12,000 cars to Russia.
