Tokyo, IRNA - Iran’s hand-woven carpets exhibition started in the presence of Head of Paralympic Committee Mahmoud Khosravi Vafa, Head of Iran delegation Hadi Rezaie and Iran Ambassador to Japan Morteza Rahmani Movahed in Tokyo on Wednesday.

Speaking to IRNA, Rahmani Movehhed said the Paralympic Games are underway in Tokyo and Iran’s matches will start tomorrow.

He also referred to ‘Beautiful Iran’ exhibition, saying it attracted the attention of Japanese diplomats, associations, lawmakers, and media.

He noted that carpet exhibition will be underway for five days.

Tokyo Paralympic Games have started on Tuesday and Iranian squad, consisting of 62 athletes (6 women and 56 men), has attended the event.

Iranian athletes will compete in Judo, Rowing, taekwondo, wheelchair basketball, cycling, sitting volleyball, athletics, shooting, archery, and weightlifting.
