Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Red Crescent secretary general said that the entity has received the 12th batch of COVID-19 vaccines and handed them to the Ministry of Health .

Mohammad Hassan Qosian said today on Sunday that the batch was received in the morning in Imam Khomeini International Airport in Tehran.

The package contains 1.11 million doses of coronavirus vaccine, according to Qosian who confirmed that it was handed to the Health Ministry.

Iran has so far administered 15,133,810 doses of COVID-19 vaccine, with over 12 million people receiving the first dose and 3.7 million people receiving the second dose.
