Zanjan, IRNA – The Customs Administraiton deputy chairman of Iran said that the third consignment of the Japanese COVID-19 vaccine named 'AstraZeneca' arrived in Iran on Friday night.

Mehrdad Jamali said on on Saturday that the shipment includes 752,940 doses of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.

So far, 2,911,810 doses of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine have been delivered from Japan to Iran.

Meanwhile, the second consignment of the Japanese COVID-19 vaccine arrived in Iran on Friday morning.

Also, the tenth shipment of the Russian-made Sputnik vaccine to fight the COVID-19 pandemic arrived at Tehran’s International Imam Khomeini Airport on Thursday.
