"We're protector of people's votes," the spokesman noted.
The presidential election is being held across Iran simultaneously with the sixth round of municipal council elections for the cities and villages, the first mid-term for 11th round of parliamentary by-election, and the second mid-term for the fifth round of Assembly of Experts' election.
Also, polling stations are to operate during Iran's 13th presidential election in other 133 world countries.
As the spokesman stressed, there is no shortages in this regard; meanwhile, conducting election in pandemic era is very expensive.
The more powerful the people's votes are, the more effectively their representatives can play role in the international system, Khatibzadeh noted.
Vote counting in foreign countries will be under the regulations inside Iran, the spokesman stated.
