Tehran, June 17, IRNA - Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif left Tehran for Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF) on Thursday heading a high-ranking delegation.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh stated that Mohammad-Javad Zarif would speak at the summit on the neighborhood doctrine of Iran and explain the Islamic Republic's policies in this regard.

He noted that on the sidelines of the summit, Zarif will meet some high-ranking officials and participating foreign ministers and would also attend a trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Iran, Turkey, and Afghanistan.

New opportunities for peace and cooperation in the South Caucasus, strengthening regional solidarity, regional cooperation in Asia, relations with Africa, the Middle East, and the Persian Gulf, transatlantic relations, refugees and immigrants, economic diplomacy and trade, communications, and fake news on the internet are the most important issues that will be discussed at this year's meeting of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

"Antalya Diplomacy Forum” (ADF)  is a high-level gathering of professionals that deal with diplomacy such as political leaders, diplomats, opinion makers or academics and it presents an excellent platform for regional and global actors from the spheres of diplomacy, policy, and business to exchange ideas and address international challenges.

The Antalya Diplomacy Forum will open on Friday, June 18, with a speech by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
