Isa Zeynali, secretary of Orumiyeh Football League, told IRNA on Tuesday that Mohammadi has signed a contract to join the Ataşehir Belediyespor Club for two years.
The sports official went on to say that the Ataşehir Belediyespor Club could reach the fourth rank in standings of the Turkish Super League in the last season, adding that the club took part in the UEFA Champions League as well.
Now, the Ataşehir Belediyespor Club stands in the second rank of the second group of the Turkish Super League, Zeynali noted.
The Club enjoys a background of three championships and four runner-ups in its 14 years of experience, the secretary of the Orumiyeh Football League said.
Samira Mohammadi, 28, was born in Orumiyeh, West Azarbaijan province. She has the experience of playing for different football teams such as Anzali's Malavan, Isfahan's Sepahan, West Azarbaijan's Hamyari, and Karaj's Hey'at Football. The goalkeeper also was invited to play for Iran's national football team.
This year's Turkish Super League for women is going to be held with the presence of 16 teams in four groups due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.
