Baghdad, June 12, IRNA – Iran’s ambassador to Baghdad Iraj Masjedi said on Saturday that the Iranian embassy in Baghdad is ready for holding Iran’s upcoming presidential election.

Speaking to IRNA, the ambassador called on Iranian nationals residing in Iraq to turn out for the election.

He said that besides the Iranian embassy in Baghdad, polling stations have also been set up in the Iranian consulates in Karbala, Najaf, Basra, Erbil, and Sulaymaniyah to help facilitate the turnout of voters.  

Iran’s Presidential Election is scheduled for June 18 along with City and Village Council Elections.
