Iran Sacred Defense role model for regional states: Supreme Leader’s Military aide

Tehran, Feb 2, IRNA- Iran’s Sacred Defense (1980-1988) could be regarded as a role model for regional states to be emulated, Military Advisor to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Major-General Yahya Rahim-Safavi said on Tuesday.

The Sacred Defense resulted in creating a new model for resistance and fight against global arrogance, Rahim-Safavi underlined.

The event inspired Muslim freedom-seeking countries in a battle with hostility, he added.
