Syria condemns Fakhrizadeh assassination

Tehran, Nov 28, IRNA – Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mikdad condemned assassination of Iran's top defense industry scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh in a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif late on Saturday.

He expressed condolences on the martyrdom of Fakhrizadeh on behalf of the Syrian government and nation.

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, the head of Research and Innovation Organization of the Iranian Defense Ministry, was assassinated by terrorists in a terror attack near Tehran on Friday afternoon.
