Islamabad, April 22, IRNA -- Pakistani media in their reports on Wednesday gave exclusive coverage to the launching of first military satellite by the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to Islamic Revolution’s Guards Corps (IRGC), ‘Noor Satellite’, the first Iranian military satellite, was launched from three-stage carrier Ghased and was placed in 425-km orbit.

Daily ‘Dawn’ in its report said that Iran's Revolutionary Guards announced they had successfully launched the country's first military satellite on Wednesday.

The IRGC hailed the surprise satellite launch as a “great success”.

‘Express Tribune’ said that Iran’s first military satellite, Noor, was launched this morning from central Iran in two stages. The launch was successful and the satellite reached orbit.

It said Noor was now orbiting 425km above the Earth’s surface.

‘Geo tv’ reported Iran launched the country's first military satellite into orbit on Wednesday.

It said the IRGC said a “Messenger” satellite carrier was used to launch the Noor (light) satellite. The report added Noor, was launched this morning from central Iran in two stages.

‘Radio Pakistan’ in is report said Iran has successfully launched its first satellite. It said the satellite launched from the Qassed launcher from the Markazi Desert of Iran.

Business Recorder reported that Iran's Revolutionary Guards force said on Wednesday it had launched the country's first military satellite which had gone into orbit.

‘Dunya tv’ said Iran’s Revolutionary Guards announced they had successfully launched the country’s first military satellite on Wednesday.

It added this action will be a great success and a new development in the field of space for Islamic Iran.

‘Ab tak’ said Iran has announced it successfully launched the country’s first military reconnaissance satellite into orbit.
