11 million face masks to be distributed free to Iranians: Minister

Tehran, March 25, IRNA – Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Reza Rahmani on Wednesday said that over 11 million face masks are to be distributed free to Iranians in the coming days.

The complimentary distribution is in line with the battle against the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Earlier today, the head of Iran's Health Ministry Public Relations Office Kianoush Jahanpour announced that 9,625 people out of a total of 27,017 infected by the coronavirus have survived the disease while 2,077 have lost their lives to it.
