Tehran, April 9, IRNA – Head of Iranian border points Shahriyar Heydari and the head of the Iraqi crossing borders body Kazem al-Eqabi signed an agreement to create and organize the border points.

According to the Interior Ministry of Iran on Tuesday, the accord was signed following the agreements made between Iran and Iraq during Prime Minister Adil al-Mahdi's visit to Tehran on Saturday and in the framework of facilitation and expansion of trade and tourists exchange at the borders.

The agreement contains opening Khosravi Border Point for passengers and transit, making Sumar, Shushemi and Sheykh Seleh border points official Province and opening Tileh Kuh in Kermanshah, opening Chilat and Chanaguleh in Ilam Province, making Siraband border point in Kordestan and Kileh in West Azerbaijan official.
