He said Siemens and firms from Poland and Russia have expressed readiness to invest in Neka Power Plant.
Ne'mati added that renovation of turbines' shell due to the fact that they are worn-out are among necessary works to be done by the help of a Polish firm.
Referring to consumption of fuel oil in the Neka Power Plant, Ne'mati said it is not cost-effective to use fuel oil and it has direct impact on reducing electricity generation.
Because of reduction of gas pressure in cold season, it uses fuel oil, but we are trying to use less from that.
Now, the power plant uses 40 percent fuel oil and 60 percent gas, but we are trying to make it 75 percent gas and 25 percent until the early next year (Iranian calendar) and until next summer (1397) to make consumption of fuel oil to become zero.
Neka Power Plant on the coast of Caspian Sea is in Mazandaran province and in north of Neka city, which was founded in 1979 and its capacity is 2,214 megawatts and is a combined-cycle power plant.
