Khalkhal, Ardebil Prov, April 12, IRNA - Iran has the upper hand in nuclear talks with G5+1, a parliamentarian said on Saturday.

Jalil Jafari Boneh Khalkhal, a member of Majlis Energy Commission made the remarks while addressing a gathering of local people in this northwestern city.

He noted that Tehran's diplomatic efforts have led to ease of sanctions and in the meantime maintained its right for the peaceful use of nuclear energy.

"Iran's nuclear program enjoys a quite peaceful nature and will be used to progress Iran's industry including the drug production," the MP added.

He expressed hope that the negotiations would lead to the full release of Iran's frozen assets abroad and increase in Iran's oil exports.
