Tehran, Dec 16, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Ministry announced on Monday that US Secretary of State John Kerry has called his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif.

According to the announcement, during the phone conversation, Iranian foreign minister voiced Tehrans dissatisfaction with the new US anti-Iran move.

The phone talk is the first conversation between the two officials since Iran and G5+1 agreed on an action plan over Irans nuclear program in Geneva on Nov 24.

Zarif have also held phone conversation with EU Foreign Policy chief Catherine Ashton on the issue, the announcement added.

In a statement released on Dec 12 by US Treasury Department, 14 companies as well as four individuals were added to the list of US sanctions against Iran’s nuclear program, banking and oil sector.

Following the US move, Iranian negotiators halted nuclear talks in Vienna and returned home for consultations on Friday.

The negotiators had been discussing the implementation of Geneva agreement with G5+1—the United States, Britain, France, Russia and China, plus Germany.
